We are thrilled to announce that we are once again open to serve you! We have missed you all so much and are so excited to see you soon, by appointment only. As we all navigate the current public health crisis, I want you to know that we are doing everything we can to create a safe and welcoming environment.
At Zimmiz, your health and safety have always been our first concerns. Since our earliest days, we have far exceeded public health requirements for cleaning and disinfecting our space and equipment. And in the wake of this terrible pandemic, we have stepped up our precautions even more for your protection. We are:
Disinfecting surfaces & equipment: Even before the pandemic, we were using hospital-grade disinfectant on all of our surfaces and equipment, and sanitizing frequently and in between clients. For the foreseeable future, we will be disinfecting surfaces throughout the salon continuously, all day long.
Hand washing & hand sanitizing: Our professionals will continue to practice relentless handwashing. In addition, hand sanitizer is being provided for your use throughout the salon, and we encourage you to use it frequently.
Wearing masks: Until we know that the risk of disease is greatly reduced, our staff will wear masks, and we encourage you to do the same. We regret that we are unable to provide masks for you – they simply are not available to us at this time – but hope that you will bring your own from home. We all have to look out for one another until the threat of COVID-19 is reduced!
Socially distancing: Although we cannot provide services to YOU without getting somewhat close, we are spacing our professionals even further apart so that your exposure to other clients and stylists is minimal. We are extremely fortunate to have such a spacious salon, and to already have partitions in place between our hair stations and between the nail and sink areas. We’ll be making the most of all that space in the weeks and months to come. In addition (and by state order), we are only working by appointment, so we can maintain a safe number of people in the salon and have adequate time to disinfect between appointments.
Monitoring: Finally, we are asking all staff and clients NOT TO COME IN if they are feeling ill, feverish, or under the weather in any way. This is non-negotiable and we are all committed to working together to protect those who are most vulnerable.
Dear friends, there are no words to adequately express how excited we are about seeing you again, and how anxious we are about keeping you safe and healthy. You are truly like family members to us; in fact, many of you are second or even third generation clients! We value your business, but we value YOU even more, and we will continue to do everything in our power to ensure your well-being and peace of mind. As we adjust to the “new normal,” we are so excited to see you, and we will do everything we can to keep you safe!
