Donna Zimmerman, Owner

Donna Zimmerman founded Zimmiz Hair Designers in 1986, after working as a stylist and manager in several salons, honing her skills and learning about the industry. With a heart for service, a love of fashion and a warm personality, she has always enjoyed helping others look and feel their best.

Donna enjoys being a business owner, but has never lost her passion for the art and science of hair design. Fortunately, she can experience the best of both worlds at Zimmiz. (And her clients know to make appointments well in advance if they want to keep a place in her chair!)

As a creative professional, Donna particularly appreciates the chance to develop talent. She has always fostered a supportive atmosphere at Zimmiz, helping young stylists to blossom and encouraging experienced stylists to stay current with the hottest trends. It’s a recipe for success that keeps everyone on their toes, and the winners are Zimmiz Hair Designers’ clients.

After more than 30 years in the business, Donna still loves her work and being part of her clients’ lives. She continues to attend classes and go to shows to keep up with the latest tools and trends, and she feels blessed by the ongoing opportunity to learn, grow and be of service. From start to finish, Donna and the Zimmiz team are committed to delivering the best client service and results in Northeast Florida.
