Amanda Banks, Hair Designer

Amanda Banks has been making Northeast Florida more glamorous for over 20 years. The  Jacksonville native loves doing color, cuts and highlights, and enjoys helping her clients look and feel great.

Amanda’s warm personality puts her clients at ease. She is an expert stylist who has taken numerous classes over the years, is Redken certified, and continues to follow the latest trends. She also likes every aspect of being a stylist, not only because she’s good at it, but also because her work makes people happy. (“It feels less like a job and more like visiting with friends,” she says.”)

A 2002 graduate of Riverside Hair Academy, Amanda is the daughter of a stylist, so it surprised no one when she grew up and got into the business herself! She enjoys working with a diverse clientele and is happy to be at Zimmiz because of the salon’s family atmosphere and excellent reputation.

She is married, has two children, and loves to be outdoors when she isn’t working.
